CJV-35 10588 was found in Alabama. It's driveable and appears to have been a hunting Jeep. It has minimal rust compared to most vehicles of this vintage. There is a heavy undercoating applied to the frame and underbody. The original engine and 6 volt electrical system, minus the distributor, are intact. There were 2 layers of USMC paint over the original factory paint. The US Department of Agriculture applied their markings over the military paint and then there are a few layers of various colors of civilian paint. Currently owned by Bob Westerman in NY and is undergoing documentation, mechanical repair and repaint to USMC Forest Green.

Not done yet, but here is what it looks like in February 2008.
