CJV-35 10???
Here is another CJV35 with a missing serial number plate. The current
owner writes "I have a cjv-35/u , it has a 1944 title with a dana44
rear axle, perhaps a m38. I have the correct tub, passenger fender, I
believe frame and front grill. The dash was unmolested, not a single
new hole. I tried to restore the body to its original condition as
possible. If I ever find a donor v-35 some day would like to restore to
original condition. I do like the od green better than the red, I lost
that fight with my girls when I painted it. I bought an m-38 tailgate
and installed "willys" from cj3a tailgate. I have the electrical plug
for the rear above the taillight. I keep looking for things like the
headlight rings, I can probably make them but the original is best. I
traced the original purchase from the military to an Indian reservation
in New Mexico from engraved numbers I found on the dash from the
previous owner having the whole thing dipped, they verified it used to
be theirs but had no other info."
